Summer League Recap: Broome Dominates Inside and Out

Johni Broome powered the Philadelphia 76ers to a Summer League win over the Mavericks, showcasing his all-around game and two-way potential.

Broome finished with 22 points on 8-of-19 shooting (42%), including 4-of-11 from three, and was perfect at the line (2-for-2). He grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds, added 2 steals and 1 block, and showed a willingness to stretch the floor while controlling the glass.

His combination of toughness inside, perimeter touch, and defensive activity was on full display against a crowded Dallas frontcourt.

Scout’s Take:

For dynasty basketball managers,

Broome’s multi-category upside is clear. His rebounding, occasional stocks (steals + blocks), and ability to hit threes make him a rare stretch-big prospect. If he continues to develop his efficiency, he could carve out a meaningful role in the near future.
