Clippers Edge Lakers as Miller and James Impress

The Clippers took down the Lakers in Summer League play behind a balanced attack, while the Lakers saw flashes from their young core despite the loss.


Dalton Knecht struggled to find his shot, finishing with just 8 points on 3‑of‑15 shooting despite grabbing 7 rebounds.

Cole Swider provided spacing and scoring with 16 points, hitting 4 threes and adding 5 boards.

Bronny James had his best game yet, scoring 17 points on 6‑of‑10 shooting with 5 assists and 5 rebounds, showing poise on both ends.


On the Clippers’ side, Jordan Miller led the way with 19 points on efficient 7‑of‑11 shooting while adding 7 rebounds and 2 steals.

Max Christie chipped in 8 points and 6 rebounds with 6 assists, providing steady play despite shooting struggles.

Yanic Niederhäuser made his presence felt in the paint, scoring 10 points on 5‑of‑9 shooting with strong defensive activity.


Scout’s Take

Bronny James continues to show flashes of being an NBA contributor with his efficiency and playmaking. The Clippers, especially Miller and Niederhäuser, look comfortable playing within the system and impacting the game on both ends.
