Thunder Cruise Past Pacers 104–85 Behind Youngblood and Mitchell
Oklahoma City took control early and never looked back, defeating the Indiana Pacers 104–85 in Summer League play.
Indiana got solid efforts from Kam Jones, Enrique Freeman, and Johnny Furphy, but cold three-point shooting (8-of-42) hampered their offense. Freeman was dominant inside, Furphy filled the stat sheet with playmaking, and Jones added scoring in spurts.
| Player | PTS | REB | AST |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kam Jones | 10 | 6 | 1 |
| Enrique Freeman | 15 | 11 | 0 |
| Johnny Furphy | 11 | 6 | 4 |
The Thunder were led by Chris Youngblood’s hot shooting, Ajay Mitchell’s steady floor game, and strong all-around efforts from Brooks Barnhizer and Nikola Topić. Mitchell dished out 7 assists while Barnhizer poured in an efficient 17.
| Player | PTS | REB | AST |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chris Youngblood | 21 | 2 | 3 |
| Ajay Mitchell | 13 | 6 | 7 |
| Brooks Barnhizer | 17 | 5 | 2 |
| Nikola Topić | 7 | 1 | 10 |
Fantasy Takeaways:
Freeman’s rebounding and finishing stand out, while Furphy’s all-around activity (despite cold shooting) keeps him on radar. For OKC, Youngblood’s scoring and Mitchell’s assist totals could earn them extended looks in deeper formats.
