Big man Luka Garza may finally get his shot to live up to the hype that followed his decorated college career, joining a Celtics team in serious need of frontcourt depth.


Garza has been a per-minute producer every time he’s touched the floor. Last season, he played just 5.3 minutes per game across 39 appearances, but his first year with Minnesota offered a better glimpse — in just 8.7 minutes per game, he averaged 6.5 points, 2.3 boards, and 0.6 assists.


Now with Kristaps Porzingis, Luke Kornet, and potentially Al Horford all dealing with injuries or uncertainty, Garza could be walking into legitimate rotational minutes.


He’s firmly on my radar in the late rounds of deeper drafts — especially in formats that reward bigs who can score efficiently in limited action.
