Summer League Recap: Fears Fills It Up, Barnhizer Efficient, Youngblood Sharp

The Oklahoma City Thunder outlasted the New Orleans Pelicans in Summer League action, highlighted by strong performances from Jeremiah Fears, Brooks Barnhizer, and Chris Youngblood.

Jeremiah Fears led the Pelicans with 22 points on 53% shooting, adding 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and getting to the line 8 times. His playmaking and ability to control the offense kept New Orleans competitive.

Brooks Barnhizer impressed for the Thunder, scoring 19 points on 67% shooting while adding 9 rebounds and 2 offensive boards. His efficiency and activity on both ends were key to OKC’s win.

Chris Youngblood provided spacing and scoring punch for the Thunder, finishing with 14 points on 56% shooting and hitting 3 threes at a 50% clip. His confident shooting kept OKC’s offense balanced.
