Bucks Fall to Clippers Despite Livingston’s Scoring; Baldwin, Christie & Flowers Lead L.A.

The Milwaukee Bucks struggled to find consistent offense in a 106–91 Summer League loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, despite a strong scoring night from Chris Livingston. The Clippers’ balanced attack, led by Patrick Baldwin Jr., Cam Christie, and Trentyn Flowers, proved too much for Milwaukee to handle.


Bucks Highlights

Chris Livingston was Milwaukee’s most reliable option, pouring in 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting, attacking the rim and drawing fouls. He added 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and a team-high 5 turnovers.

Bogoljub Markovic impressed in his minutes, tallying 14 points on 4-of-8 shooting, going a perfect 5-of-5 at the line while contributing 2 rebounds and 2 assists in a strong bench performance.

However, Tyler Smith struggled to get going from deep, finishing just 3-of-10 overall and 0-for-6 from three, scoring 6 points and grabbing 5 boards. His cold shooting hurt the Bucks’ spacing throughout the night.


Clippers’ Wings Take Over

The Clippers leaned on a trio of versatile scorers:

  • Patrick Baldwin Jr. delivered a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds, hitting 4 threes and punishing the Bucks inside and out.
  • Cam Christie scored 21 points with 3 assists, going 6-of-14 from the floor and 6-of-7 from the line while showing composure in key stretches.
  • Trentyn Flowers played an efficient, all-around game, finishing with 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting, adding 4 rebounds and a pair of steals.

Their combined effort overwhelmed Milwaukee’s defense and kept the Clippers in control from start to finish.

Scout’s Take

Livingston continues to show flashes as a scorer, but the Bucks’ overall inconsistency and Tyler Smith’s struggles from deep limited their offense. Markovic remains an intriguing bench scorer with touch and toughness.

On the Clippers’ side, Baldwin Jr.’s versatility, Christie’s polish, and Flowers’ efficiency all highlight their long-term upside as rotation-ready wings.
