Second Team All-Summer League: 2025

After naming the Third Team standouts, we also have to recognize another group of players who made a big impression this summer. The Second Team All-Summer League features five players who showcased strong production, versatility, and flashes of upside as they fight for rotation roles in the NBA.

Reed Sheppard – G

Sheppard showed scoring instincts and aggression, though inconsistent efficiency limited his impact.

Kyshawn George – F

George brought playmaking and activity but struggled with outside shooting and turnovers.

Nique Clifford – G/F

One of the most efficient players all summer, Clifford’s versatility and outside shooting stood out.

4 27.0 18.5 7.0/12.0 58.3 2.3/4.3 52.9 2.3/3.3 69.2 6.5 5.0 3.0 1.3 4.0 +10.0

Collin Murray-Boyles – F

A high-motor big who finished efficiently and contributed across the board.

Games MIN PTS FG FG% 3P 3P% FT FT% REB AST STL BLK TO +/-
3 23.9 12.7 4.7/7.7 60.9 0.7/2.3 28.6 2.7/4.0 66.7 6.3 2.0 2.7 2.3 5.0

These players may not have made the First Team, but their play this summer proved they’re names to watch going into training camp and the 2025-26 season. The league is full of opportunity for players who can build on performances like these — expect a few of them to carve out rotation roles sooner rather than later.
